The highly selective and individualized PhD program in Urban and Regional Planning and Design prioritizes full-time students in admissions. Applicants should submit a complete application through the university system by the deadline, as late applications are not accepted. Before applying, familiarize yourself with faculty research and contact potential dissertation advisors based on shared interests. 介绍:Recognized as a leading graduate program in urban and community planning, Maryland’s Urban Studies and Planning Program presents an interdisciplinary, hands-on and holistic curriculum geared toward the study and development of urban environments, communities and meaningful places.

The Urban Studies and Planning Program at the University of Maryland provides the Master of Community Planning, a leading graduate program accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board that prepares students to tackle a variety of issues and topics affecting communities and urban environments. The program offers a comprehensive core curriculum along with courses leading to specializations in environmental planning, transportation planning, housing and community development, and economic development.
